This is why I don't have a STEAM account. I spent SEVERAL DAYS (literally, days) trynig to sign up for an account, and could not read most of the captchas. They don't have an audio version, and there doesn't seem to be a way to reach an actual person to work around the issue. It's incredibly frustrating. Now, from your description, I wouldn't be able to use an audio captcha at all.
